- Born and raised a stone's throw from the Elwha River and Olympic National Park, Sara Gagnon has been professionally guiding rafts and kayaks for the past ten years. Spending much of her time exploring the forests and hills, she's developed a keen knowledge of local flora and fauna.
Sara brings EMT and Swiftwater Rescue training to the Adventures Through Kayaking team. She is also an ACA Certified Kayak Instructor.
All of our kayaking guides are devoted to the Northwest! We are enthusiastic about kayaking the wonderfully majestic outdoors of the Olympic Peninsula and the Strait of Juan de Fuca waters - the bays, rivers and estuaries - we are knowledgeable of the local history, geology, flora, fauna, and legends.
